Are you looking for discount airfare to Peru?
The unique thing about this 19th-century house is that it also is the atelier of a top Peruvian fashion designer one of a number of old buildings in the city that have been turned into boutiques.
The atelier belongs to Titi Guiulfo, who gave up designing gala gowns and wedding dresses two years ago when she founded two nonprofit organizations dedicated to saving pre-Columbian textile techniques. On regular visits to remote communities in the Andean highlands, Ms. Guiulfo teaches children the basics of hand-looming, mentors adult weavers, and helps secure fair-trade deals for their products. These Andean textiles are the heart and soul of Atelier Titi Guiulfo, two blocks from the ocean in the Chorrillos district.
