Passengers who experienced a lengthy delay on an American Eagle flight waiting to fly out of New York’s LaGuardia Airport on Monday, also experienced a cranky flight attendant. During a long delay due to weather, flight attendant Jose Serrano was caught on video yelling at the passengers. It was Flight 4607 to Raleigh-Durham, N.C., and the attendant was yelling at the passengers to go ahead and leave the plane “if you have balls.”
The flight was originally scheduled to leave at 1:25 pm, but passengers didn’t board until 4:00 pm, at which time they had to wait behind 20 other aircraft before taking off. This caused the pilot to need to refuel the plane, which meant the passengers had to get off again and didn’t re-board until 6:00 pm. By this time the passengers and the flight attendant were agitated and witnesses say he started confronting passengers. The flight ended up being cancelled after 8:00 pm.
