The Kajili Teej Festival at Bundi is particularly vibrant, with a procession of the goddess Teej from Sagar through the main bazaars to Azad Park, which includes colourfully decorated elephants, camels and performers.
The Teej Festival is celebrated throughout Rajasthan, with each region having its own take on festivities. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Parvati and is the time when married women pray for a long and happy married life.
