Puccini's famous opera La BohȲme comes to the Masrah Al Qasba Outdoor Theatre in Sharjah. Performed by the European Chamber Opera, one can enjoy the two and a half hour show under the stars while having dinner.
Mimȶ meets Rodolfo one cold Christmas Eve, in Paris' Latin Quarter, and the two (feeling around in the dark because her candle has gone out) fall in love. Rodolfo is an artist, living with three other lads - Colline, Schaunard and Marcello, the lover of Musetta. Both couples break up, and the opera ends in tragedy as Rodolfo finds Mimi dying of consumption in her freezing garret.
